A beautifully designed & crafted plank table designed by John Herbert for Younger. Younger furniture was produced in relatively low numbers so rarely come up especially this model in this condition. The table is made from solid afromosia. This table dates from between the 50s and 60s. This is a stunning minimalist styled table that is exceptionally made and will be an antique of the future.

Younger were renowned for their high quality workmanship and mainly retailed through the Department Store 'Heals'.

I would say that the condition is a very high 8.5 out of 10.

Condition report:

The table has been thoroughly cleaned and top stripped back. Then coats of hardwax oil and wax polish has been used enhance and protect the lovely wood. As you can see from the pictures the original finish has held up very well over the last 50 years and the table is in stunning condition. There are no loose parts or any damage to the table and it's a stunning example of high end english furniture from the mid century.
